Overview
The Reports tab contains tools for generating print and web reports, accessing archived reports and managing archived documents.
B3 contains an abbreviated list of sample report templates, though many clients create their own custom reports. Contact B3 Support to discover the reporting possibilities for your organization.
There are some standard report templates available to all B3 users. Some programs have additional custom reports available specifically for their organizations. Via the icons in the upper right of the report window, B3 report templates can be downloaded as a PDF or MS Word file, saved to the Report Snapshots list window below the rendered reports area, or sent directly to a connected printer. Text in a downloaded MS Word file will be editable, but graphs and images are downloaded and included as pictures.
Archived Documents
Document management is easiest when all information is stored in one location. In addition to tracking a site’s building characteristics and usage, important documents about the sites can be stored in B3 Benchmarking. Store blueprints, energy modeling documents, improvement project proposals, grant applications, and more. At the site level, click the 'Upload a Document' link to store documents in B3. Various document types are accepted up to a size of 40 MB. Note: only individuals with edit access can view uploaded documents.
Report Snapshots
Report Snapshots function similarly to a bank statement in that it describes the status of the portfolio at a point in time. From the Reports tab, generate a selected report and use the camera icon in the upper right to save it to this Report Snapshots. This snapshot helps focus efforts in spotting problems and investigating potential improvements. In addition, having these reports archived helps track the organization's progress over time. Click on a specific report name to view it. Some B3 programs periodically email reports and those too can be saved to the Report Snapshots.
